Where did the Name Whim House Come From?

Family and friends; good times with both.  This is how Whim House began. The Dodd summer home on Nantucket Island was purchased on a whim, and thus, appropriately named, "Whim House."  Inside the casual but timelessly appointed home, great memories have been made throughout the years.  All these times include great friends and family gathered around the table, or outings around and about the island.  It is the sensibilities of these experiences that have platformed our West Coast Whim House.  It is our goal to provide home decor, tableware and thoughtful gifts that help create lasting memories for you through the use of our carefully curated products.
